Had this AC installed in October 2005. Back then it seemed to me that it was great, especially for the price they charged for it (which was $5000). But now, after six years of usage, the evaporator coil has sprung a serious leak, making the AC unusable. How interesting: they give you a five-year warranty and the product breaks down just after its expiry… Will never buy any Bryant production again.

Have been using it for 12 years already. What can I say? At first the size of the AC impressed me (huge if compared to my old Carrier), but now I don’t even pay attention to it. It has also turned out to be extremely quiet (at least quieter that the one my neighbors use). So, if I ever need another AC, I will definitely cooperate with Bryant.

After just two years’ use the coil required a change again. I called to Bryant and talked to three different people, but none of them could accept the problem- they just kept telling me it was MY fault when it wasn’t!  At last I got the coil replaced- hope this one would last longer.

The unit came with our recently built house (February 2010). In two years’ time the AC broke down. It was for the evaporation coil that started leaking unexpectedly. Having talked to some Bryant dealers, we got to know that the replacement would come up to $1200, even though it is still under warranty! We have searched the Net for some similar issues, and now we know that some of the official Bryant resellers have stopped cooperating with this company because they had to replace those evaporation coils in half the units! We haven’t called Bryant yet, but we’re looking forward to.

Our unit was installed about 11 years ago, and we have only cleaned it two times so far. Probably that was the reason for the AC not working properly the last six months. I suppose that it would have served us longer if it wasn’t for the rare maintenance which should be done annually. For now the heat pump coil has started leaking, making the unit unusable. We’re going to have the AC replaced with the Bryant production again because the previous one was wonderful! And yes, we will clean it regularly this time. Well done, Bryant!

When purchasing a house, a friend of mine recommended me to install a Bryant AC into it, so that is how I got to know this company. Tuned it up a little bit, and everything was working great for 6 years. My home has always been cool. I consider buying a new AC system in the nearest future, and I will definitely go for Bryant!

The Bryant AC came with the two houses I purchased back in 2005, because the building company had a contract with Bryant. Both of the units crapped out pretty soon. One of them died after two years of exploitation, got it replaced under warranty. But it is now that after six years both of them have just stopped working! An issue with the evaporator coils, the repair will come into about $2000, which is not good. Pretty funny that they broke down after the 5-year warranty expiry. Will never buy anything from Bryant again.

Bought a brand new Bryant air conditioner three years ago. The first year it stopped working unexpectedly. Of course, they replaced it, but not before I’d made a number of phone calls. The next year the outside unit died, so they replaced it too, still, in the end of the season only. Now it’s the third year of use, and the AC is not working AGAIN! Did I pay $4000 for THAT? I’m fed up with this, looking at purchasing Carrier. That’s not alright if you give away $4000 just for dealing with the service.

Installed a new AC in March 2004. Since then 4 compressors in it broke down, every time having been replaced for a sum of money. Moreover, now the evaporation coil has started leaking hard. My previous AC unit was some model of Lenox that had worked fine for almost 25 years by the moment I decided to replace it. Bad idea. This Bryant’s piece of junk has been breaking down every year, except for the last two years. What else can I say… Ah, they’ve charged me $2000 for replacing the cooling coil.

Since the year I purchased this AC, my electric bills have gone much lower, even in sight of the recent inflation. This air conditioning system is projected to consume minimum energy through several ways, and the Bryant engineers have worked really hard to make it possible! This AC will keep you cool even in the hottest days here in Florida without having to count the unit’s working hours. Not a single negative, will surely buy a Bryant product again in case I ever need one.
